I Don’t Agree With Posting My Kids Online Anymore

I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools.

I have kids ya'll and a whole husband. lol

Topic: posting kids online

This sounds horrific so brace yourself.

At first, I tried to make my kids be online with me, but they really didn't want to be seen like my husband. 💍

I was upset. If apathy was a group of folks not a person, it would be them.

I was reminded I can't make people do things they're not interested in.

I had no clue there is a whole debate going on about parents posting their kids whether it's a picture or in a video.

Most families have made a whole business from it. That's perfectly fine.

From what I've read, the issue may be the online predators and/or kids are too young to grasp what it means to give consent to being posted.

Let's be honest. People are drawn to kids and they bring in more traffic.

It's hard to pull away from something when it's being successful.

I have to say I don't agree with posting kids online.

I had pedophiles come for my girls just from videos of them speaking Spanish. It scared the living daylights out of me. 😬

That was all I needed to get me to see it's not worth it. This occurred over three years ago.

Even though you don't see my family, they're my top priority in life and I deeply care how I represent them online and especially how I represent Christ.
