Why Does Pitch Matter?

Why does a certain emotion have a specific pitch?

Think about anger...

What pitch does it have? High

What about sadness? Low

My presentations three years ago sounded as if I was tired which meant a low and boring tone.

I'm positive listeners blocked me about after 30 seconds.

Gosh, that's embarrassing. 🥹😬

If you want to present powerful presentations, grasp the topic of pitch. Not only this, but sprinkle a bit of intonation on top of that.

What do they mean in terms of speech?

Pitch is how high or low your voice is while intonation about the way you ask a question or make a statement.

This commercial from the 90s by Benjamin Stein still comes to mind three decades later. It's his voice and how he used it that amuses me.
